| Forum Stopped Working
I am using Photopost 4.6.
Today it was brought to my attention that the photopost gallery stopped working. Upon trying to view the index.php I get the following error:
**************
MySQL error reported!
Script: index
Query: SELECT c.id, c.catname, c.description, c.catorder, c.parent, c.thumbs, c.children, c.photos, c.posts, c.catdepth, p.id, p.bigimage, p.cat, p.approved, p.user, p.userid, p.date, com.username, com.id, com.date, com.photo FROM categories c LEFT JOIN photos p ON c.lastphoto=p.id LEFT JOIN comments com ON com.id=c.lastpost ORDER BY c.catorder ASC
Result: Can't open file: 'photos.MYI'. (errno: 145)
Database handle: Resource id #6
***************
Any suggestions on what the problem might be and how to fix it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron

Using phpmyadmin, try doing a:
REPAIR TABLE photos;
looks like the table got corrupted.

Okay, I thought it worked like a charm but it was apparently only half the battle.
After repairing the table I can now view the main index page and various other pages throughout photopost without incident....
However, when I try to upload I now get the following error: Unable to move file [C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\php35.tmp] [C:/sitedata/skimmedia/Inetpub/wwwroot/Scripts/mediacenter/uploads/1/SickAs****.jpg]
One of my users also reported that he got this error when he tried to upload: C:/sitedata/skimmedia/Inetpub/wwwroot/Scripts/mediacenter/up loads/517: Error creating directory (check permissions).
Please notify the System Administrator.
I did not change any permissions during this process? Any ideas?

Looks to me like your uploads and data directories are not set to 777 as they are suppose to be to allow uploads
Setting them to READ WRITE EXECUTE should solve this.

Okay, somehow it appears that the permissions in those directories (data and uploads) and perhaps all permissions on my website got reset to defaults. I gave permissions to those directories as you indicated...
Now instead of getting an error when I upload, it goes to "processing image...." then goes to a confirmation page. On the confirmation page a window pops up asking me to log into www.skimonline2.com which is my website. If I log on the thumbnail pops up appropriately. If I do not log on I get a box with a red x in it.
Are there possibly some other directories that need special permissions or is this something else? Thanks.

Unable to move file [C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\phpA8.tmp] [C:/sitedata/skimmedia/Inetpub/wwwroot/Scripts/mediacenter/uploads/520/slimer-12-11-02.jpg]
Your folders are not 777 READ WRITE EXECUTE

I am on a windows server, so there is no 777 READ WRITE EXECUTE (right?)
What are the windows equivalents?
I use ensim to manage the server and reset the folder permissions within that application (I believe it creates custom permissions, which are apparently insufficient...)
