vb3 style no longer displayed in pp5.20

After upgrading from pp5.03 to pp5.20, my vb3 style is no longer displayed in pp. Its just plain white. Where can I find the documentation on fixing this? I know a doc is published, I just need to find it and follow the directions just like before. Thanks!

In addition, I am now getting this recurring mySQL error:

An error was encountered during execution of the query:

SELECT timestamp,statscache,catcache,catprops FROM pp_cache WHERE id=1

The query returned with an errorcode of:

Table 'talbertw_pp.pp_cache' doesn't exist

Okay well this is easy. You have forum style set to yes but your not using vb3 integration. You have all that turned off in your admin

As long as the cache exists you should not get an error. Does that table exist in your mysql database?

If it existed in 5.03, then it should still exist. I haven't been deleting any tables.

"Use Integrated forum stylesheets?" was already set to YES, so that's not the reason either.

I found one other place where vb3 integration was NOT enabled .. I enabled it but got this error during the admin change:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory

Theme integration is working, but I'm still getting the open_basedir error and the pp_cache error. Any ideas on those?

You have a test login?

I dont see any issues viewing your site

The cache did not exist in 5.03 there are multiple upgrade scripts to run to get to 5.2
