5.3 Upgrade & Permissions Problem

I tried upgrading from 5.03 to 5.2 and experienced lots of 'unrecoverable errors'. I reverted back to 5.03, but for some reason I can't upload or vote anymore, as if I don't have permission, yet I'm allowed into the admin area and can edit photos. What could be the problem?

I would suggest you redownload the distribution upload it and upgrade agai

Post any issues you get here.

I would not be able to tell you why you can't upload or vote without alot more information about your site here.

I successfully upgraded to 5.11 without any problems this time, except...

Now, I'm stuck with the boards being closed. When I login, it says 'Login successful!' and then brings me back to the 'Boards closed for maintenance' message, with the opportunity to login again.

My PhotoPost is integrated with UBB.Threads 6.5

Hello our distribution is 5.2 anyway sounds to me like your cookies are not set right or you did not upload the new forum integration file in the forums subdirectory

You may check your cookies in the database settings table entries 171-173 and basically make sure they are all blank except cookie path set to /

Ok I reverted back to 5.03 again and tried again, and it worked this time. I think the main problem was that I chose the wrong upgrade the first time. I thought I was 5.11 and I was apparently only 5.03.

Alright I seem to be having only one problem now. I can login, administrate, vote, etc just fine... but when I try to edit a photo (like the description or title) nothing happens -the page just reloads instead of going to 'Edit Successful!' page.
