| Photopost upgrade problem
Hello people,
I seem to have run to a problem with my upgrade. I was trying to upgrade to 5.2 but when I reached the 485 upgrade script I got
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_regcode() in /home/digitalw/public_html/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 2064
on screen. I checked the script and it is the topmenu function that has this line.
Anyone else experiencing this one? It appears that the integration script is not included properly or not at all.
Thanks!

I have the same error while upgrading from 4.82 when I reach the 4.85 upgrade script.
What do you mean by "the oldest mistake"? cause I must be missing something. I am trying to use vb3 integration.
I'm using the 5.2 9/29 1:49pm build

it is possible I ran the 4.8.2 upgrade script when I might have been running 4.8.6 (I have two different sites and may have confused my versions), but I compared the resulting database to my backup and they are the same. I reloaded my 4.8.2 files and all works well...tried re-uploading the 5.2 files, ran upgrade.php and the 4.8.2 step is fine (other than some 'already there' errors... get the same error when I reach the 4.85 script.

Okay cool no problem redownload it.
Basically I backed out all calls to pp-inc and since I did that I also need to make sure we use mysql_query and not ppmysql_query and I forgot it in two lines |

Please redownload the build from the Members Area and upload the changed pp-inc.php and upgrade.php and run it again. I've made a modification I think will fix this error.

ok...that works...
upgrade finished but now I have no thumbnails. When i try and rebuild thumbnails, it says it can't find all my pictures and deletes all of them from the photos table. The photo count on the gallery homepage still shows photos but the database shows zero pictures. I restored this table from my backup... still no thumbnails. The photos themselves are still in the data directories. Did files not get moved or something?
thanks

Okay well restore your photos table and you will need to rerun the 485/486 upgrade script and run each step ONCE.
That should get you going

no...mine didn't look like that.
I restored the photo table by running a query in phpmyadmin using a backup I restored to a test database.
You have this error showing at the top of your page:
Notice: Undefined variable: argv in E:\Inetpub\awesomeantlers\index.php on line 15

yeah that error has been there for a while, I just need to comment it out.
I forgot to backup the DB So I need to find out if there is a way to batch in all my photos and start over with the comments. I guess thats all I can do at this point?

if you go in phpmyadmin and look at your photos table, is there anything in that table?
The reason I ask is because I only had to use my backup after I tried to rebuild thumbnails. Since my files never got moved the rebuild thumbnail couldn't find them and removed them from the database. So...if you didn't do that, your table may be ok.
