upgrade question

I have photopost 5.0 and I am going to upgrade for the first time. I read the instructions provided and have a few questions.

You wrote:

/*.php (except config-inc.php, config-int.php, inc_features.php, inc_photopost.php, install.php and upgrade.php)

What does that mean??? do not upload those files? what? I really need step by step instructions for the upgrade. I am not a programmer....

Do not upload those files correct otherwise the directions posted in the documentation folder should be step by step just like the announcement thread on the upgrade.
