Are you still getting the error? It's possible it was sent before you completed the upgrade by someone accessing your site.

The error messages came by email.

7 came with this:

An error was encountered during execution of the query:

SELECT timestamp, statscache, catcache, catprops FROM cache WHERE id=1

The query returned with an errorcode of:

Table 'photopost.cache' doesn't exist

If you need assistence or feel this is a 'bug'; please report it to our support forums at: http://www.photopost.com/members/forum/f66/index.html

To turn off these emails, set $debug=0 in your config-inc.php file.

..and one came with the attachment that is on the first post. If you go to www.volvoclub.org.uk/photopost/index.php and scroll to the bottom you will see there is no one in the 'Top posters' section still.

Did you get an error while upgrading? Try rerunning it.

The emails arrived within moments of finishing the upgrade.

I closed the gallery and re uploaded upgrade.php and ran it. Got this onscreen message:

______________

Preparing to update database...
Error performing MySQL command: INSERT INTO settings VALUES (210,'Default location of the photo previews?','filmstrip','Determines the location of the film-strip previews on the showphoto page.','top',26,5)
Error: Duplicate entry '210' for key 1

Upgrade complete! You may now remove the upgrade.php script

______________

Still no table photopost.cache in the database, but did not get the 8 emails..........yet.

top posters fix

In indexstats.tmpl

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
replace with this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Your cache table seems to exist if things work

'Top Posters' now works, thanks for the fix.

Now, about references to 'photopost.cache' which does not exist, do you mean a table named just 'cache' as I have that.

I have just had 2 more debug emails sent by the config-inc.php file:

---------------------------------------------------

1]

An error was encountered during execution of the query:

INSERT INTO users (userid, usergroupid, username, password, email, homepage, icq, aim, yahoo, joindate, birthday, ipaddress, location, interests, occupation, bio, site,, Resource id #7)
values(NULL,'3','V70ARR','9f6db65ced1f9ab32929f857350f29ba','cooke73@hotmail.com','http://','','','','1127922273','1973-3-21','82.41.42.103','Edinburgh, UK','My Car.... R','self employed','','Volvo Owners Club','$, Resource id #7')

The query returned with an errorcode of:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' Resource id #7)
values(NULL,'3','V70ARR','9f6db65ced1f9ab32929f857350f2' at line 1

If you need assistence or feel this is a 'bug'; please report it to our support forums at: http://www.photopost.com/members/forum/f66/index.html

To turn off these emails, set $debug=0 in your config-inc.php file.

2]
An error was encountered during execution of the query:

SELECT id, date, user, userid, SUM(views) AS tviews,COUNT(*) AS pcount, MAX(date) AS maxdate,
SUM(filesize) AS tfilesize FROM photos WHERE approved=1 GROUP BY userid ORDER BY maxlast DESC

The query returned with an errorcode of:

Unknown column 'maxlast' in 'order clause'

If you need assistence or feel this is a 'bug'; please report it to our support forums at: http://www.photopost.com/members/forum/f66/index.html

To turn off these emails, set $debug=0 in your config-inc.php file.

-------------------------------------------
Can you explain what has caused these please.

Thanks, great support. Keep it up.

Bob

I uploaded the new "register.php". Now another problem. I uploaded a photo which worked OK but it does not appear in 'Recent Photos'..

Changed

$grabnum = $rphotos + 5;

to

$grabnum = $Globals['recentnum'] + 5;

Still the same problem.

A newly upload photo won't appear in the Recent Photos until the cache updates next time around.

I found the setting for this in admin Global Options and have changed it to 1. To be honest I think this will cause confusion with users. They will expect to see the photo they just uploaded and not have to wait for a specified number of minutes.

I assumed setting it to 1 was 1 minute, but it was close to 5 minutes before it appeared.
