Exclamation I get this error when uploading pictures

move_uploaded_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect.

This seems to be the culprit!

You need to chmod the uploads and data directories and there children to 777 per the installation to allow file uploads to work.

Exclamation I did

Its nothing to do with chmod from what I can see! I chmod'd all directories as per installation instructions before I shafted the installation by changing some paths on how php is called!

So I am totally fuc*ed now!

Can i order an instal from you guys since it is going pretty bad!

Okay well as stated move_uploaded_file is a normal function of php. The directory your moving the file to needs to be 777.

Now also with open_basedir set the directory needs to be whats in the allowable path structure your host allows you. Did you specify the correct path to your uploads and data directories on install?

I would think this is your case you either have permissions or path's incorrect.
