Switching from UBB to vB including PhotoPost & ReviewPost

I'm in the process of converting a UBB forums setup to vBulletin. In the old setup both PhotoPost & ReviewPost were setup with the UBB install. I have already converted the UBB forums over to vB using the Jellsoft Impex importer.

Now I'm working on integrating PhotoPost & ReviewPost w/ vBulletin while managing to keep all existing content the same.

Has anyone done this and can offer advice?

The main hangup in my mind right now is that the user IDs will not match. The Impex took care of converting all old UBB userIDs to the new vB userIDs in posts and what not. Will I need to custom script something that will change userIDs for Reviews and Photos in the old system to the new one? I think I'm quite capable of doing this, just wondering if anyone has some advice before I start hacking.

Also in this process I will be upgrading older versions of both software (PP 4.8; RP 2.8) to current releases. Should I upgrade on the old setup (UBB) and then work on converting to vBulletin?

Yes as you know userids change. Photopost I suggest you upgrade to 5.13 so you dont need to worry about having to rename files

You need to set both our products to the new config database settings to connect to vb and enter the vb license number there

You need to modify the settings tables to enter the correct integration prefix and cookie settings

Third as you know you will need to write a user import script to rewrite the userid's in the photos comments and category table( only for personal albums cattype a where the parent field is the user's id). Updating those 3 tables with the right userids for the usernames will fix photopost

Now reviewpost is someone more difficult since the userid is prepended to the images
You will need to do much the same as above with photopost yet you also need to rename the images with the correct userid on front.
