Smile Switch ubbt.t + photopost > VBulletin

Hi all,

For the last two years I've been using a UBB.threads (6.4.2) forum together with photopost (currently running 4.8.2). Now I am planning to make a switch from UBB.t to VBulletin 3.08 and I need to know what consequences this will have for photopost.
Now photopost uses the member base from my forum, but how will that be after the I import those to VB? Which steps should I now follow?
We have 3000+ member and more than 2500 uploaded pictures, so it is pretty important for us

Thanks in advance.

THE one main consequence is that vbulletin renumbers users on import so you need to write script to renumber the users with the new userid's in photopost.

Well, that's bad to hear I have no coding experience....
How about runumbering by hand? I have +/- 3000 users, but only 500 of them have uploaded photo's in the past 2 years. Do I also have to runumber those?

I would really like to know which steps I now need to follow to get photopost working and the things I should be aware of.

Thanks,

Pasqual

There are many threads on here in switching integrations. Basically you need to modify the config file to the new database info and enter the vb license number for vbulletin and then in phpmyadmin edit the settings tables and edit settings 41,83,171,172,173 to the proper settings

Here is a script that will help with the userid situation
