Uploading Problem

When I try to upload a picture i get this error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/jaydabh/public_html/photopost/uploads/1/suits.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/jaydabh/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 37

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpBF1B2S' to '/home/jaydabh/public_html/photopost/uploads/1/suits.jpg' in /home/jaydabh/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 37

and inside the message box i get this::

Hello make sure your uploads and uploads/1 directories are set to 777 per the installation directions
