Zlib on Vbulletin kills photopost

Well, it doesn't really KILL it, but what I'm seeing is strange. When I activate Zlib compression on my forums, my photopost page becomes a blank page. I'm using vb 2.3.3 and pp 4.6. I know I know, they're old versions, but I have a lot of hacks. I'm just wondering if you guys have seen this before, and is there a fix? I'd really like to turn on Zlib to save some bandwidth, but I want my users to see their photos!! Thank you.

Did you turn off zlib compression in PP? You can't run it in two places.

yes, I did. The problem occurs whether it's on or off.

Hello

I would suggest upgrading since your version is relatively over 2 years old.

Easier said than done. Like I said, lots of hacks. A upgrade for me is not so simple. It'll take weeks, and This probably is most likely solved a LOT easier.

So have you guys seen this before? Have you ever had such a support request in the past? I'd really like to stay on topic if we could.

4.6 is a very very old copy of Photopost hense we always suggest to upgrade and it is not off topic to suggest it.

Now as Michael already posted the only thing ever posted about zlib is you can not run it twice when loading a vb header or you shall see undesired effects. Other than that we have never encountered such a thing.

I cant say whether your hacks are causing this or not but it is something you should look at. You should install a unhacked copy to see if you can replicate this.
