Disabling Recent Comment and other PAL's

I would like to disable all PAL's (recent comments, highest rated, etc)for all who are not logged in. Is there a setting for that?

It is important to the privacy of the forum users not to show anything at all to non-members.

Just found out that comshow.php will show the comments and small photos without user logged in. Please help me disable that too.

I need to also disable the search function people who are not logged in.

Thanks.

Permissions are managed from edit categories in admin and you set permissions. The thumbnail block and recent comments blocks all use $CatPerms to block viewing of photos you dont want shown.

Thank you.

I edited the settings for each categories, and got rid of the recent comment PAL, but the highest rated PAL is still there. I think I can live with that. But if you know a way to disabled that for the users not logged in, I would love to know.

Comshow.php still can be run and showing thumbnails and comments. Can that be disabled for users not logged in?
