login errors etc

so i managed to get it instaled however no user database worked (have a message forum that we wanted to merge so inly 1 username/password...

where did we go wrong with that? why do i have to register from scratch and when i went to put in my user/pass from the message board it said already taken but wont log me into reviewpost?

Have you used the correct table prefix? Do you know how to use phpmyadmin?

Your cookie settings in your config file should be set to this for one and I do not show they are

$cookie_path /

$cookieprefix phpbb2mysql

$cookie_domain BLANK

If the login is correct it should login
