Error with new Installation

Hi,

I'm new to Photopost and the installation and integration to my VB board was done by one of your 'Engineers'.

Right now the program is not working and never worked for more than a week.

Can someone work with me to reinstall pls?

Hello

You say one of our engineers did your install?

I am the only person who does installs for our company and I have not done any install for that domain unless we are like talking along time ago. (see PS below)

Now I can tell your though your vbpath in config-int.php is not set correctly. You would need to set this to the correct server path to your forum if you want to run the vbheader overtop of the program

PS. Your install was done 4 months ago.

Omegatron,

From your email, I can confirm that you actually did the install for me about 4 months ago.

We've had problems with the photopost since but I've just been lazy in reporting the issue until now.

Any help you can render in getting us back live and also upgrading us to the latest version will be appreciated.

Well I posted above your issue with what the error is

In config-int.php you must specify the proper path to your forum directory

$vbpath variable is not set correctly

In your config-int.php file are these lines make sure your server path to the forum is correct as noted in bold here

I've double checked and those are the right paths.

I double-checked with my web-hosts and they confirmed this as well.

So it appears to be a bug in the software somewhere.

There are no bugs in the software concerning this issue. Every thread on this error in these forums lead to user error in regards to incorrect paths.

Your gallery is now down cause you have edited something else in the config-inc.php file most likely your database settings.

For the VB header to work the two paths I meantioned must be correct and also in the config-inc.php make sure your $PP_PATH is set to the proper path to the gallery.

Chuck:

Thank you I finally have it figured out.

If I need to upgrade to the latest version and keep my integration with Vb, any special steps?
