Photopost stopped working after 2 weeks

I'm currently having problems with my photopost installation. I installed it with 0 problems and had it up and running with no problems until a week after the installation all that appears is this error: Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to MySQL server on '10.8.12.4' (61) in /mnt/web_e/d22/s33/b01be0d2/www/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 131
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database. []

I've check the user and password of the database and everything else related to the database configuration and I'm still getting this error. I've created new users in the database and everything but it still does not work. I can even query the database with the same user and password assigned to the photopost installation!!!

Please Help!!!

Hello

Double check your config-inc.php to ensure that it has the correct HOST USERNAME AND PASSWORD to access mysql.

That error is pretty darn absolute it means whatever settings your using are not correct. Check for a space or something mistyped.

might be a DNS problem if it suddenly stopped working.

Maybe the Mysql server has dns problems, and can't do a reverse lookup on you own IP for some reason.
If the permissions where something like grant all on blah.* to user@your-host.com instead of grant all on blah.* to user@your.ip.adr.ess it might be just that.

Ask you database admin to "tail" the logfiles.
