Problem with fresh installation on old database

Hi guys, got as few problems, hoping you can help me out!

Up until recently, I was running Photopost 5.11 integrated with ubbthreads 6.5.1

Everything was running smooth and sweet

Then I switched forum software to fusionbb. I did this, imported all my users and posts across, again no problems.

Then I switched my attention to integrating Photopost into fusionbb.
Firstly, I attempted to edit the integration via the admin panel, but for some reason it wasn't having any of it. Being in a bit of a rush I downloaded the latest version and did a fresh install, using the existing Photopost database.
IE, used the same data folders and MySQL database/user as I did on ubbthreads.

Install went smoothly, integrated stylesheets, users etc no problem.

I then went to Admin -> Scan Database and then ticked all the boxes so it would refresh itself and bring all the images back into the software.

But I'm guessing the software doesnt work like that as it doesnt recognise anything, it says all done, and catagories are all blank, with no images being imported etc.

So now I'm stuck.

Any ideas?

Well you cant import images so your losing me here on the post above.

basically you would upgrade a working photopost to 5.13 -- IE the working Threads integrated photopost

Then you can edit your config file and specify the correct user database for fusionbb

You then can edit the settings table and change settings 41 83 171-173 and specify the correct integration type table prefix and cookie settings. Also setting 7 is where the url to the forum goes

Then more than likely if fusionbb changes userid's on import you need to write a script to reassociate pictures and comments and albums to the proper users.

That should be the short version of how to do it.

I am not following you? rebuild a database?

I simply posted how you upgrade a working copy of Photopost to the latest and then switch integrations.

If you have deleted your photos or something in the database you would need an sql backup to restore things.

I have folders with images in, which were uploaded when I was running photopost integrated with ubbthreads.
They are in the default photopost folders, ie, /uploads and /data

I have created a fresh install of Photopost.

Can these images which are already in the default photopost folders be re-used? (imported, re-added, call it what you want)

Should there be an option to upgrade to 5.13 in the latest release?

In my upgrade.php within 5.13 the latest upgrade I can perform is:

5.1 to 5.11

Should there be a 5.11 to 5.13?

There is no script needed. So if all you did was upgrade 5.11 to 5.13 its just new files like the upgrade instructions state

Could I have a bit of clarification on what the exact database structure should be? I left one of my admins to do this conversion, hence the state it's in now.
Looking in the database, I have a list of tables, and then another duplicate list with pp_ prefixing it.
I'm pretty sure that isnt correct is it?

All my images within the old database are stored in the table "photos". I've done a fresh install with a new database and have noticed that the tables are prefixed with just pp_.

Something has gone wrong for me along the line here.

Whats my options? Re-install without a prefix for the photopost tables and then do a restore of the photos table?

You dont do a fresh install. This is what I have said all along

You would upgrade your existing working copy. Of course a new install isnt going to show photos as they are the wrong tables. You need to point to the proper database tables so your prefix should be empty not pp_ if I follow right here
