Uploading errors - fresh install

Hi all, I am totally stumped. I've searched and searched the forums and tried almost everything (assuming everything would have fixed my problem..)

1)All permissions on directories and subs are 777
2)I have no idea why the / are not showing up - all admin config options have them.
3)The only thing I can think now is C:\Inetpub\vhosts\ is not the correct path - I have not asked the server admin yet - but am thinking it's correct as it's what got set during the install.php.
4)used mysite to replace my actual domain.

Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks,
Christine

Cannot upload - I'm trying a single file as admin:

WHOOOO HOOOOOOO, I figured it out.

I spent time looking at the weird not parsing slashes issue. I started looking at the db tables, went into the settings table and found a path w/o slashes - it's the Orignial "Image storage directory server path" - I still have not found where to adjust this thru the forum admin, so I changed it directly in the db to match the other data url and path.
Made sure both url and relative path had a slash on the end.
phew
WORKS!!

Thanks for reading..
Christine

There you go, it's suppose to reverse backslashes so that they are all forward slashes, but maybe it didn't take for some reason.
