Exclamation No admin access after 5.03>5.12 upgrade

I have recently installed photopost successfully on a website (v5.03).

The other day I then installed a clean install of 5.11 on a different site/server. The installation worked fine but I could not log in to admin panel after intergrating with forum software (wowbb). Cookies problem I thought...

Checked all cookie settings as wowbb does need a few extra config. items in your install...all fine. However the one setting I could not set was the cookie domain because I couldn't get into the admin panel...! So updated this setting through phpmyadmin but still no joy. Then checked forum cookie domain and pp were both set the same...yes...still no joy.

I then installed photopost (v5.11) standalone and it works fine...so probably not any server setting issues then...I thought.

Today I downgraded and installed v5.03 that I know I managed to successful integrate with wowbb on my other site. Viola...worked fine.

In the last few hours I have downloaded v5.12 and executed the upgrade scripts on the working installation of 5.03 and doh! its not working again...same problem no admin access. Incidentally I made sure I set the correct cookie domain in 5.03 admin panel before upgrading but still makes no difference. Help!!

The domain I am running from is an addon domain would this make any difference? Wowbb cookies seem to work fine and pp when installed standalone?

------config-----------
Linux
Apache 1.3.3.1
Php v4.>
Mysql 4.>

If anybody needs more info than this (admin logins - not that they'll do much good or installation passwords etc.) please pm me as obviously I will not post this information in public.

Many thanks in anticipation

I know what the problem is, but I have to think about how to fix it. In the wowbb.php file we allow the admin to set the name of the cookie, but our new security code works a little differently now and wowbb.php didn't get the new way of checking for it's cookie.

Jon, can you PM me your ftp info so I can try uploading a new file and also a login so that I can try logging into your PhotoPost when I'm done uploading the new file?

This is what should be in the wowbb file and I show it there as this thread is a month old

$smfcookname = $Globals['smfcookie'];
$smfcookie = $_COOKIE[$smfcookname];
