Have Photopost on my site

I have had a serious virus on my computer recently which lost all my data from Chuck. I have tired to use the contact form, but it will not let me. It has been one of those weeks.

I have photopost at:

I need to know how to make backups of the gallery

Hi Jeff..

well a backup of all the .php files and your data (and subdirectories) and your database file(s) (.sql) are the main ones obviously, FTP (download) all your php and data directories to your hard disk and backup on CDROM or whatever you need to do, ask your host about phpmyadmin or a way you can back up your database (which can also be done via your photopost admin > database > Backup Database) check the path to 'mysqldump' set in your config file.

Thank you kindly for your valued reply.

I tried the back via "photopost admin > database > Backup Database) " But it will NOT let me do the backup. I have however backed up via mysqldump via my host.

2 questions.
a) Do I restore via the admin section if required
b) What do you think is the problem why I cannot backup through my admin.
