Rotate thumbnail memory problem

I'm getting the following error when trying to rotate thumbnails on editphoto.php. I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1200 bytes) in /home/stagsandhens/stagsandhens.com/html/photo-albums/adm-photo.php on line 57

I increased the PHP memory from 8MB to 16MB but it doesn't seem to have helped. Is there a memory leak somewhere?

That would depend on your php version. There are php versions known to have memory leaks and has nothing to do with our software.

The only known workaroud is to increase php memory or install a newer php version that does not have this memory leak error.

hi, i'm on Version 4.3.8. have you heard of this problem before with this page or could it be that i've messed up somewhere?

if i can't solve the problem, i suppose i could just stop users from being able to rotate images. it doens't seem like a very high priority feature to me.

i used to have a memory issue with the photo uploading but that was solved and still seems to be working fine.

I dont off hand remember any issues with that version but who knows. I know older php versions like 4.2.1-4.2.3 where especially bug ridden with a memory leak error.
