what version is this??

Line 15 of our upgrade script is this

$magic = get_magic_quotes_gpc();

You do not run upgrades from an upgrades directory.

well actually the upgrade didn't work real well.. there are no images although there are placeholders and there is additionally no way to login as anything although you appear to be logged in you aren't. this was an upgrade from 4.8 to the newest version.

Datafiles are in /data and as far as I can tell all permissions are set the way they ought to be. There are about 3000 pics that up until I ran the upgrade were all there for the world to see. I wonder if it might not be better to just start from scratch again? it'd be a pain in the butt but at least everything would work

Well reason I asked is there was no file there.

Now it seems you have cleared everything. If you load the old database and files I would simply suggest to recheck paths permissions on the data directory and run through upgrade scripts again that would be best.

ok I took it all down an just reinstalled the latest version from scratch and now everything is working fine. Just gotta re upload the piccy's and fix the header and such and everything will be dandy Thanks for your help Oh, I just remembered I was trying to integrate with Mambo and I kept getting sql errors. not a big deal really as I am just going to use the PP registration again like before but I was wondering if PP is fully compatible with the latest version of Mambo or not?

well if you integrate with MAMBO just remember to point to the right database in the config for the database and on install specify the proper table prefix for mambo.

If one of the above was not done correctly you will get sql errors.

So if I were going to attempt integration after install is there a way to do that without disconnecting from the pics I already reuploaded?

If the user you uploaded as is the same userid no biggy otherwise after MAMBO integration you would need to login as mambo admin and reassign the pictures to you.
