Upgrading to 5.11 from 4.86: What about the DATA folder?

I'm going to be upgrading soon, and I noticed there is no mention of the DATA folder, where all the images are stored. Do I re-upload the folder after the upgrade?

Ooops. I think I found the answer. Just be sure to CHMOD the data folders to 777.
