Hi..

If your online image processor is GD2 then i would make a transparent .png file in CS2, (i wouldn't use a .gif) anything around the 50x50 pixel mark would be fine, then setup/enable watermarks by going to your photopost admin > Edit Settings > Watermark Options

also check your photopost admin for : Administration > Edit Categories (to enable watermarks per category/usergroup)

also check your photopost admin for : Administration > Edit Categories (to enable watermarks per category/usergroup)

This is the number one thing people forget to do

Is there a switch to turn in each category? I do have the full path listed in there although it is the same as default image I want to use.

ah view your php settings and see what libraries are supported with GD. Looks as if you have a processor problem and would need to do one of two things.

Use imagemagick and a gif watermark or make sure your server has png libraries installed

That is a server response error that you see. It is not coming from our application.

Line 190 is this

$logoImage = ImageCreateFromPNG($watermark);

What version of GD? what type of watermark? 8bit or 24bit

I'm having pretty much the same problem with watermarking.
I've uploaded my image (watermark.gif), entered the full path in 'watermarking' options selected 'yes' from the list to enable watermarks, checked ALL the user groups in the catergory I want watermarked and applied it to all of the child galleries but I still don't see any watermarks on the images.

I don't get an error message like the guy above but if I enable 'on the fly' image protection I can't view large versions of my photos, when I click on a thumbnail I'm just presented with the image title.

The gallery is here - http://mnpctechcom.temp.powweb.com/gallery

Everything in the 'Mnpctech Gallery' should have the watermark applied to it, but as you can see something isn't set correctly.
Ignore the watermarks already there that say "mnpctech.com" as those are on the raw image already, the actual watermark should say "mnpctech.com/gallery"

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Your boards are down

Basically what processor you using? if your using GD2 you cant use a gif watermark it must be png

If your using imagemagick it is a gif.

There are tons of things you could set wrong on this. watermark path is server path not url

on the fly showing a broken image indicates you have something set wrong like above notes.
