SMF Style Integration problem Well, for the life of me nowhere during the installation or in the admin control panel can I find andthing having to do with SMF. I see the integration area in the CP which allows you to integrate with just about every release of vB--but nothing else. All I care about is integrating the style I have for my smf boards into the gallery. Can someone tell me how this is done. Mike :) |
Also forgot to mention, I tried playing around with the other integrations only to have my admin cp come up with a fatal error which will not even allow me to change the setting back for vb2 integration. |
Hello You can only install Photopost and integrate it with a forum you actually have on the server. You will get problems trying to play. If you install Photopost and select SMF integration there are fields that appear that ask you to set the SMF cookie which needs to be set for things to work. After you install you can set a switch in admin forum option in photopost to use forum styles and it will pull your forum style. I would delete everything and start fresh. |
I have the forum on the server--installed and functioning just fine. At what point during the install should I see an option asking for SMF integration? |
Thats fine is you have the forum installed ;) I am saying that on our install first step it asks all the database info where you input the right info. It then checks the image processor then creates our database tables. Step 3 it asks internal or external install and you select external. There will be a drop down box with the integration types you select smf. You then answer all the correct info on that page table prefix of smf cookie name etc etc |
Finally got it figured out. =) Thanks for the help. |
BTW, any idea of a place to find some themes outside of pulling from a forum? |
