What do I do?

I recently had my forum updated, and had PhotoPost updated at the same time. However, when we try to post an image we get the following: (version is 5.02- would 5.1 fix this problem?):
I'm trying to upload a few images in the gallery section but am having a hard time.

I got to the point of the thumbnail and description but this is the message I got:

You sure permissions have been set for the directories to 777? Is this one or all directory uploads?

No body can post images. Where do I find the area to set permissions?

In admin area EDIT USERGROUPS all permissions are set there

I'm gonna sound like a real novice. But, are these areas located within the software of photopost, or, is this within the admin area of my webserver?

Okay, I went to the admin area within Photopost, and set the permissions for the various usergroups. I then tried an upload, and I got:

Check your data directory and upload permissions and make sure they are all set to 777
