| No Error on image upload - too large
We have checked both our allowed image size setting in both usergroups and the large and medium sized images... this is not the issue. What is happening is this:
I uploaded files that were the proper filesize and extension - uploaded dandy.... but when it was oversized (ie: instead of the min of 125k it was like 250k): The system does not give any error message as to why the upload fails.
They are taken to the main index gallery page after the upload completes but the image never uploads and no error message is encountered.. |

I had the same thing to one of my sites to. I was told to download the 5.1 again and re upload the files. Still didn’t work until I scanned the database and then that fixed it. I was told there was a fix to the original v.5.1 file on earlier downloads.

I uploaded all the files. I noticed the dates were 5-27-05 after 9:00am if that helps.

Your saying you cant upload a file over 250K have you checked with your host they dont have the LimitBodyRequest variable set to a low limit as such which will limit your ability to upload files after a certain size?

I have a limit of 125K in the usergroups and when they try to upload an image that is even 130k - it used to give an error if the image was too large and to try again or something - but now it reverts back to the main gallery page and doesn't alert them to anything and they don't realize that it never uploaded or why it didn't process. Sorry I didn't explain it further |

If you download the build this was added in for sure last night. Lines 397-428 of uploadphoto.php have been added to check limits. Upload that file

You most likely downloaded the build before Michael updated it if yours does not work. Make sure when you say you will delete that page reupload make sure to download a new distro. The distribution was not updated last night till after 10PM eastern time

ok, have upgraded my PP to 5.11 and still have the problem. I have upload size set to 150kb and image of 155kb says it uploads then flips to the gallery homepage and is not there. I also still have the issue with no line breaks able to show in the comments. If anyone can help thanks, if not I'll see about raising a support call. Thanks

The latest build most definately resolves this issue. I would make sure to upload all the files except config.
