My Pictures and Thumbs or Gone :(

I just updated three photopost scripts and the first two went fine, my last one is broken. All the thumbs and pictures are not showing. I followed the directions to the 'T'. My config-inc.php file showed '4.8' version. The upgrade just had 4.7, 4.82, and up to select from so i didn't know where to start.
I started with the 4.7 as i didn't show the 4.82 just the 4.8 version.

How do i fix this?
I would hate to be down days like the other guy who tried to get help fixing this issue.

I reuploaded the entire database and tried it again and it still doing the very same thing. It won't show the thumbnails or the pictures and if i try to rebuild them it deletes all 4000 plus pics.
Any ideas?

I have installed it starting at the 4.6, at the 4.8, and at the 5.0 and all three ways won't work. Is there any support or idea how to get this to work?

You need to upload the backup database and when you run the 4.86 to 5.0 upgrade you only run step3 once.

If step 2 completes and step3 is only ran once your photos should show.

I installed it correctly and did not click on it multiple times. I installed two before this one without any problems. I even tried it from the 5.0 after reinstalling the old database and that didn't work either. Now i am back to square one.

You can PM me an id and I can look and I can verify this and show you the exact issue but if no thumbs are showing and a rebuild thumbs deletes the photos and they are still left on disk but no mysql inserts in the photos table then step 3 of the 486-5 upgrade had to run twice. There is no other answer here. Step 3 of the upgrade renames the photos $userid$bigimage and if its run multiple times renames them $userid$userid$bigimage. Support site is cluttered with this exact thread many many times

Yeah, I don't doubt I did it. I just don't see how

I tried it again to no avail so I just restored the old database uploaded the new files except the install.php and upload.php and ordered the installation from PhotoPost. I faxed the update sheet about an hour ago with the information. Best to let you handle this one. Thank you for the information Chuck.
