Upload Error

Having trouble uploading. This is the error everyone is getting when they try to upload pics to my site. Help?

Warning: move_uploaded_file(d:/Customers/user1120257/www/gallery/uploads/1/Eddie_s_Bday_Right_Side.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to create stream: Permission denied in d:\Customers\user1120257\www\gallery\image-inc.php on line 37

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move 'C:\components\shared\php\uploadtemp\php19E4.tmp' to 'd:/Customers/user1120257/www/gallery/uploads/1/Eddie_s_Bday_Right_Side.jpg' in d:\Customers\user1120257\www\gallery\image-inc.php on line 37

Any advice you can give would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hello Per our installation instructions the uploads and data directories as well as there subdirectories must be the equivelent of 777 for file uploads to work. If you do not have permissions on that windows system to do this you must contact your post to set this permissions for you. Windows translation of the unix equivelent of 777 would be READ WRITE EXECUTE

Ok - I fixed that problem. Thanks! Now I am getting this error. The weird thing is that my users can't upload, but when I tried I got this error but the picture still uploaded. Even with the error. Can you tell me what is happening? Thanks!

Have you made sure the uploads directories are also 777?

Do I do that or does my server do that? If I need to do it - how do I do it?

Thanks so much.

That error is telling me your directories are not 777 or the windows equivilent of that. You need to set those directories to READ WRITE EXECUTE as I noted. If you do not have permission to do that then you would need to ask your host to ensure the data and uploads directories are set as such.
