| v5.03 Integrated Into Threads v6.5.1.1?
I'd like to know if anyone has done this successfully yet?
It's kicking my butt. I know that Chuck had put out a hack for this in Threads, but it was for earlier versions.
I'd like to keep running PhotoPost integrated into my ubb.Threads, so if there's any help out there for me on this...please post up.
Thanks,
Gonzo

By default Photopost 5.03 integrates with the Threads user and styles of the forum so no hack is needed which in the old days pulled the style for the user. This has been true since 4.8

Thanks Chuck....then you're saying...all I need to do is upload all the files and do an install from there? The install will set up the integration automagically?
Thanks Chuck,
Gonzo

You already have Photopost installed. What I am saying is you would upgrade and set forum style integration to yes.
You will need to create a header for Photopost which is easy as we dont pull that but it can be simple html. Thats what I did when I use to run 4.8 till I switched to VB |

Chuck, the config file doesn't have any options to set the forum integration style. Plus, I can't open up the Admin panel within the program. The config file doesn't give much in the way of options or settings....

I would not know what to say there.
Maybe make sure all files from 5.03 are uploaded and you did run the upgrade right?
you can PM me a admin account and url as if you could get into the admin with a prior version and upgrade would not affect this.
If you tried doing an install maybe you hosed yourself dont know. You meantion install a couple times in this thread although in your situation as long as you have been a customer you should have simply upgraded. Can't say more without seeing our install

Chuck....I'm thinking of doing a fresh install and say screw it! I may have done more damage than good and a fresh install may just be the ticket. I only worry about getting all the images back online.... Then again, maybe a fresh start is the way to go at this point.
Thanks,
Gonzo

Update: I did a install of PhotoPost and used the same datase info. Don't know if this was a good thing or bad. I worked my way through the permission's issues with Toney and got through the install. Things seemed to have been going the way they were suppose to. The install then gave me a direct link to get into the admin panel, but again...all I see is a blank screen with a little black square box in the top left corner of the screen.
I then went into the main photo gallery url and it looks like it's working right with the integration....showing my username as being logged in.
Here's the page: http://www.f-bodyhideout.com/ubbthreads/gallery
Any thoughts?

I see a photopost install but no threads integration make sure to mark
Use forum style integration to yes in forum settings in admin and input the threads default stylesheet name

Seeing how I can't access my admin panel....which file can I edit manually to change this? I don't see it in the config-inc.php file. And inside the config-int.php file it only shows integration for vb and not a threads integration option.
I would think that the integration is working seeing how it is showing all of my users on the "users browsing the gallery". At one time it showed 5 of my users in there browsing by their login username.

Chuck, I have changed your profile on the site to have Admin permissions. I'll email your password to you through your comcast email account.
Please login and see what you come up with.

Well Your gallery has some sql errors when I switched stylesheet on.
I do see you have a mix of old files and new files. Example when I hit login it goes to login.php. There is no login.php file in Photopost 5.03
I PM'd ya on the site but you would want to make sure you upload all 5.03 files to your site and I can work on seeing what things you have set wrong.

Okay Chuck.....I'll wipe the files off and do a fresh load on the files except the config-inc.php.
Do you want me to walk through the install.php file as well to install it?

Well, lookie there....
Now...my issues are coming in the way of getting all of my pictures back on the gallery.
Seeing how I am still using the same database as before....couldn't I just upload all the pics in their perspective directories where they came from? I retained their directory structure.

Nope you would need to restore the data directory and the old database and do an upgrade as I stated before.
You still need to apply 777 permissions on the data directories and there subdirectories. You also need to set permissions to the header.htm and footer.htm files to 666
