So they are restricting you to around I estimate 100kb?
You either need to set in usergroup permissions the max filesize to be under their restriction and live with the way they configure there server or find a new host to move your site to. I dont think there is any other suggestion than this.
There are many hosts out there that do not restrict such things as this in a shared environment. I would suggest maybe westhost.com as an example of decent pricing diskspace and bandwidth.

I was afraid that you would say that! I wonder how hard it is to change hosts! How scary, but I need a gallery! You don't think that I'd have this particular issue with westhost.com?
Thanks!

You said in a previuos post...
I've modified my bulkupload.php file with;
ini_set("memory_limit", "20M");
Are you trying to bulk upload lots of pics?
How about putting this back the way it was originally and see if your standard upload, as per pic, works.
You shouldn't be having any problems uploading individual pics.

Mark,
I'm not actually trying to bulk upload at all - I'm trying to upload one image at a time. I removed that bulkupload.php modification, but it makes no difference. I can't imagine that no one using PhotoPost uses Network Solutions for a host. If changing the php.conf file is a "global" issue, shouldn't a lot of PhotoPost users be having this problem?
Thanks,
Amy

Alas, I'm no expert on this.
I just wrote in because the answer seemed pretty straight forward, by adjusting your settings in your admin panel.
But reading back over your thread it looks like you've had a few stumbling blocks on the install, (which my wife does and she generally has no problems. However we did pay to get a first install and then she learned the ropes after that.)
Anyway, sorry to hear about your difficulty and I hope you can sort it out soon.
Best,
Mark

I actually dont know of any photopost users on Network Solutions persay. On a shared server environment you have to live with the settings they put on the server if they wont change them or move to a new host.
I wish I could post something more encouraging here beleive me |

A long time ago we had a site at Network Solutions and found it rather restrictive. Have you checked with them about using PhotoPost there?
We've been on a shared server for a number of years now using PhotoPost, had no problems setting up, and have fast and smooth site performance. They are an excellent host - tops on service, with replies to requests usually within 15 minutes, plus a supportive community.
