two problems... in photopost

Hello recently moved to new host and server. I have two problems now.
When uploading a file I get this message
------
Unable to move file [/tmp/phpeRCdhi] [/home/metalee5/public_html/blastology/gallery/uploads/1/chrisA.jpg]
------
And when I try to make a new category I get this message
-----
Unable to create/write to /home/metalee5/public_html/blastology/gallery/data/531! Check your data directory permissions before continuing.
----
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you very much

It appears that your directory permissions are not properly set; can you verify that you have set your permissions accord to the installation instructions:

OK I checked my data directory permissions. I think. Is that in my cpanel? In photopost pro config-int.php
it says
// The URL of your photo dir where your images are stored (with / at end)
$data_dir = "http://www.blastology.net/gallery/data";
Is this messed up or something?
thanks

Anyone, please? I did not install Photo Post pro originally on my first server. I paid for you guys to do it. And yep, it ran perfect. I had to change servers and hosts for bandwidth reasons.
One of the photo post pro employees went far beyond the call of help for me yesterday and really helped me out.And I thanked them for what he did! I'm having these two problems now. And I'll be honest, I looked at the page you directed me to and I have no idea whats going on. That's why I paid for you guys to install it right the original time. And you did! Quickly too, I must say!
If someone could just show or tell me where I need to go to change and make it right, I appreciate it. In stead of telling me to read the install manual. I'm not yelling, I just don't understand why so many companies do this to paying customers. Sheesh I've spent $280.00 on my photo post pro app. It's awesome! That's why I didn't buy VBulletins Gallery...because this one blows it away! With the money spent on Photo post pro ..I could of bought four Vbulletin galleries.
If I can just get a clear answer I promise not to bug you with what probably to you is an elementary procedure (to me it is not) or ask anymore questions in this member only area. I just want my app. to work like it did when you guys originally installed it.

Calm down a bit it is the weekend

Change your image processor to GD2 or put the correct path to ImageMagick in your config.

In your global options is where you can select ImageMagick or GD2. I would select GD2 as your image processor and test things

Hmm...ok....it was imageMagick I selected GD2.
Now I get this message
----
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '/home/metalee5/public_html/blastology/gallery/data/530/thumbs/Tomas_-_Half_man3.jpg' for writing in homemetalee5public_htmlblastologygalleryimage-inc.php on line 121
-----
So I go back into the directories>>>>gallery>>>>data>>>There's no 530 in -thumbs. It stops at folder 529.
Now what's the problem?
Thank you

You have not copied all your data directories on the server move. You would need to create a directory by hand and chmod it to 777 for any directory thats missing as well as a thumbs mini and medium subdirectory underneath

Thank you, yes I've done that. It's still not working properly. Keep getting error messages
---
/home/metalee5/public_html/blastology/gallery/data/1/medium/slimer-12-11-02.jpg -> /home/metalee5/public_html/blastology/gallery/data/530/medium/slimer-12-11-02.jpg
Copy of the file failed. Operation cancelled.
----
That was when I tried to move your pic!
I see the 530 folder now in the directory, but I'm still getting 530 error messages and it's CHMOD to 777. Do the .htm & .html pages have to be 777 also?
Thanks

Yes your issue as I beleive I stated in an email from support on this is that when you moved servers looks like all your categories under data did not move with you so yes you need to create any that are missing
