Smile Cannot login adm-index after installation

I'm sure that this issue has probably been addressed before, but I'm new to all of this!

I have phpbb successfully installed on my website and have installed photopost successfully - I hope! When I go to Gallery/adm-index.php, it asks for my username and password, but when I click "submit," it takes me to Gallery/php.dat/misc.php and says that the page cannot be found.

Can someone please help me?!

Hi, i think i may be able to assist you in this matter.

when you setup photopost to use with phpbb you should check to see if the settings below are inserted into your 'config-inc.php' ...

cookie prefix : phpbb2mysql
cookie path : /
cookie domain : .mysite.com (see the 2 dots there)

Now you may have to alter these settings via your database (the 'settings' table) you can do this via phpmyadmin if you have this on your server/host

Please could you supply me with url of your photopost install, also please recheck your config-inc.php for the 'paths' "php.dat" should'nt be in there or theres a mistake somewhere in your config-inc.php.

Amy,

I am having a similar problem:

vBulletin 3.0.7 installed at www.xyz.com/vb
PhotoPost 5.03 installed at www.xyz.com/pp

I've got the vB3 integration turned on. When I on Admin on the PhotoPost page to go to admin, it takes me to adm-index.php .. when I login, it takes me to pp/misc.php and then back to pp/index.php

I never get to see the admin menu! So, you're not alone.

I went into the settings table of the PhotoPost database and adjusted the three settings related to cookies to match the settings of my vBulletin 3.x install and all is well now. Thanks TONEY!

Toney,

You're a genius! Thanks so much for your help! Now I've learned how to make changes in phpmyadmin, and they actually worked!

Thanks!
Amy
