Upgrade instructions

Hi,

You might want to amend the upgrade directions - you say not to upload config-int.php - but maybe because I had 4.81 or maybe it is because we have threads but in our case that file didn't exist - without the file the upgrade just gives a blank page - upload it and away it runs.

Just worth a mention.

Thanks Ian although I beleive our upgrade directions state this

2) Upload all files - except config-inc.php, unless you modified it from the ZIP file - to
your server. You do not need install.php for an upgrade.

I do beleive the confusion comes from this in CHANGELOG.TXT

3) Copy the files from the ZIP download in the main directory, except
config-inc.php/config.int.php, install.php and watermark.php. Upload the templates, forums,
images, languages and stylesheets directory (careful not to over-right any custom style
you may have created/modified).

In that case this would be true as these complete directions are for the Photopost 5 upgrade and the file was added in 4.8.6 in which case you would not want to overwrite it.

Thanks Chuck - I was taking the instructions from the top post in this thread - didn't spot any other upgrade notes - only could find install notes in the support section.

Maybe I looked in the wrong polace - apologies.

Anyway the upgrade went very smoothly - very impressed.

No apology needed

Yep the Upgrade Announcement thread is the same as the CHANGELOG.TXT file. They are quick instructions of changes etc from the last released version which was 4.86

How are things going with you buddy. Have not seen you in a while. How is that big Fusball site of yours.
