| I messed up something Major Errors
I have a dedicated server and I have VB3 and VPortal running fine now I tried installing this thing a few times and I keep getting sql errors Quote: |
Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /usr/home/witchy/html/www.mydomainname.com/photopost/header-inc.php on line 61
| VB and VP are in the same db I set PP to go into that db I set both fileds to that db. I can login to my Control panel and see the tables are created. I tried a few times and have to keep changing the prefix for PP because if i dont I just keep getting sql errors saying dublicate tables
Im using GD2 I checked the php.info and it said thats what I have and safe mode is off. VB has no prefix so I left that field blank
Any Ideas

VBportal2 is for VB2
You need to edit the config-int.php file and turn those off.
Then in the top of that file verify the paths to the vb3 forum and turn on the vb3 integration options.

go to usergroup permissions in admin and set the usergroup permissions.
If you can not get into admin you forgot to set your cookie prefix on install which is usually bb

Well VBportal sidebar by default will show on Photopost pages when using Vb3 integration. As far as including a photo block on VBportal main page that would be a hack since we dont specifically support altering other software's files. However I will point you to a simple post I made over at VBportal to put a block on your main page like I did to my site http://www.phpportals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14712 |

Thanks omegatrom I got all that stuff to work. Not easy for me considering I am a pipe fitter by trade
One more question please, I thought everything was fine until I had someone say that they registered to my VB board but when trying to post they were getting sql errors. I didnt see any when I was posting so I logged out and tried registering a different user name and then I saw a sql error but I refreshed the page and everything worked. Then I got this email from my VB board Quote:
Database error in vBulletin 3.0.7:
Invalid SQL:
SELECT *
FROM mailqueue
ORDER BY mailqueueid DESC
LIMIT 10
mysql error: Table 'photodb.mailqueue' doesn't exist
mysql error number: 1146
| photodb is photopost db not Vb's datatbase. I checked in my control panal and there is no table mailqueue like the email said. but there is one in the VB db. Did I mess something up on install? How can I fix this?

Tried to post where? We dont alter anything on Vb so that error makes no sense.
You using the inc_features.php on the vb index?

Well the email is from VB not Photopost and not even from a photopost page your saying.
make sure if they are in separate databases which ever hacks your using you select the databases properly
I would say you have messed something up on the portal as you dont have a footer.

And I get this error on the browser when a person who registered but hasnt confirmed their email yet tries to post
Warning: halt(./includes/functions_log_error.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in usrhomewitchyhtmlwww.onlinesingleparents.comforumsincludesdb_mysql.php on line 389
Warning: halt(): Failed opening './includes/functions_log_error.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in usrhomewitchyhtmlwww.onlinesingleparents.comforumsincludesdb_mysql.php on line 389
There seems to have been a slight problem with the Single Parents Forum database.

If I where you I would make sure to upload clean files of any VBportal or Vbulletin files you have altered.

What do you mean you have installed no hacks? http://www.onlinesingleparents.com/index.php
That is not a hack on your portal page?
You have hosed your portal which is tied to VB so this is where your errors are coming from. You dont see that your footer is missing in the portal?
You most likely cause is when installing your hack you did not properly select the vb database back to the forums after selecting the database for photopost on the top of the hack
