ImageMagick Rebuild Thumbnails

Using IM 6.2.1
Apache 1.3.33
PHP 4.3.11

I rebuilt my thumbnails, and ImageMagick zoomed in on all the thumbnails. Take a look. I have a backup, but is there a fix for this?

Try a different thumbnail template to narrow it down the thumb seems fine

Actually that's the original size of the image, 180 x 137, it was simply never resized to the 80 x 60 or so thumbnail. Can't I run convert on the command line to see if it converts the image correctly?

I know, it was a figure of speech. Mogrify is usually located here: /usr/bin/mogrify. Can I test it on the command line to convert an image? I'd like to know if my error is mogrify or pp related.
