vb3 integration problems...

I combed through the faq and older posts and I am still having problems, so...

When trying to integrate Vb3 and PhotoPost 5.03 visually (header, footer, styles), I keep receiving the following errors:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I know my paths are correct, have tried tossing in the absolute server path, and a couple other similar alterations of that specific line of code with the hopes that I could get this working.

I am running this on a dedicated server with the gallery and forum in two different directories. I know there was another person who had a similar problem here (chdir didn't work), but I am having a hard time with the idea that there is no work around... I just can't seem to wrap my brain around it.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would check your path statements in config-int.php

More than likely your vb path statement is incorrect as we are not finding global.php where your telling us vb is

Thanks Omegatron.

Am I correct in assuming the global.php the script is looking for is the global.php in the root diretory of the forum install?

I am fairly certain my path is correct (below). I use the same structure for my gallery (in a subdomain), and have not have problems with it.

In my PHP info (server path):

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Okay well your using subdomains and your server I assume is not allowing file sharing between those domains so you need to remove the openbase_dir setting in the php settings to allow this.

As long as you have your php set to only allow you to run scripts within the specific domains you can not share or call a script from another subdomain.

1. alter your php.ini and make openbase_dir empty

or

2 do not run as subdomains if you want to use the vb3 header
