Warning message????

I'm on version 4.8.2

I am on VB Version 3.0.3 with the 3.0.5 patch installed.

I have been having a lot of server overloads lately and VB's first reccomendation was for me to make sure PHP/Apache/MySQL is all upgraded to the latest versions.

My host is in the process of doing that NOW.

I turned off my VB BOARD while these upgraded are taking place.

But now....Photo Post is giving me this message:

Warning: chdir(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 503 is not allowed to access / owned by uid 0 in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/photopost/header-inc.php on line 54

What does it mean???? And what can I do to fix this??? OR will it just go away when my host completes the upgrade???

LET ME KNOW ASAP....Thanks for such great service!

Yours,

Kirk Voclain

That means your host installed php with safe mode on which is a no no with Photopost. You can not do file uploads with SAFE MODE ON.

You can ask them to turn this back off

Thanks....THAT actually is what I thought!!! SEVERAL things on my server is going FREEKY.....

I currently have PhotoPOST "CLOSED" in the Config area.....my HOST is not finished my upgrade.....I really do not know enough to know for sure...but....I am assuming that "Save Mode" is "ON" because of this upgrade and that when they are done....it will be turned OFF.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR RESPONSE!!!!! Yet another reason why I will be a PHOTOPOST customer for life!
