What does UPGRADE change in Vbulletin Database?

Can anyone tell me what if anything running the UPGRADE.PHP to go from photopost 3.2 to version 5.02 would change in my Vbulletin version 2 Database? I use the Vbulletin Database only to authenticate/register users, Photopost has it's OWN separate database for everything else. Thanks!

Photopost never touches or changes the Vbulletin database in any way
