Help! will just not work, tried everything..5.02 Is there an official PhotoPost employee I can send my photopost mysql dump to? I've had to revert back to 3.02 otherwise i could give phpmyadmin access to my photopost database. It is under 1 megabyte (the 5.02 version of my photopost db) if I can send it to someone. ACTUALLY, I can just upload this 502 database as another database and give you phpmyadmin access to it. Problem is the INDEX of the photogallery loads fine but I can't open any category or click on a thumbnail to open picture, if I do the browser just hangs, tries to load forever and nothing happens. The UPGRADE.PHP went fine, I got to the end and it seemed to have restructured my data directory like it's supposed to. (I've installed, removed and reinstalled many times, the 3.2 version works fine, the 5.02 will not.) --EDIT , OMEGATRON, I just sent you an email with details on accessing my database. Thanks! I can give Details on how to access my DB with phpmyadmin etc to official photopost employee through email or PM etc... http://www.photopost.com/members/for...d.php?t=113222 |
OMEGATRON, as you requested in an email five minutes ago, I now have the photogallery running 5.02, thanks! I've also created a USERname for you on my forum/photogallery so you can login, the details are in your email. I'll make you admin. thanks! |
Made some progress, I found out it WORKS for NEWLY created users, ie Users created After the upgrade to 5.02. For older users, they can view index but can't open categories or view pictures, just hangs...so is problem a user permissions thing? thanks! (I found out after i created your ppomegatron user and it worked logged in as you!) --Edit I just backed up my Vbulletin Database so you can mess with it if you need to. (I authenticate users in vbulletin version2 but photopost is in it own database) |
Hi, I just sent you an email with the data in TWO separate COOKIES for my domain, ONE for a PC which WORKS and one from those that DO NOT work. The one that works is from a PC I've always used and never reboot, my main pc i work with. The cookie info that doesn't work can be found on PCs where photogallery does not work properly, ie every PC except that one that was always on etc...just check email. I was going to mess with cookie settings now in the Admin of photogallery but thought I shouldn't in case you're working on it so I don't confuse you. thanks! |
