thumbnail image quality

we recently were migrated to a new server by our host and now our thumbnails are very poor quality and not the correct colors. The larger image looks fine. Only the the photos that have been uploaded since our migration have this problem all the old ones are showing up just fine. Any ideas?

If you where using GD1 or GD2 I would double check your php info and then make sure you have selected the proper image processor.
