What version of PP are you running? Were you upgrading?

Yes I upgraded. I was running 4.8.1 now I am on vB3 Enhanced 5.0.2

Let me guess, after the upgrade your thumbnails were missing.

So you tried to rebuild your thumbnails from the admin CP? Now, all your photos are gone from the database?

Yes thats exactly what he did

To restore things using a mysql backup restore your photopost photos table

1 check your data directory path in admin and then chmod all data directories to 777

2. rerun the upgrade script for 486. Only run it once and make sure to run all 3 steps

lol...wow...yeah exactly what I did. But the only thing I don't have the backup.

You did not take a backup of the mysql as the upgrade instructions state?

If you have no mysql backup or your host doesnt then you can not get back the photos unless you download and reprocess them by hand.
