Problem 2
In my Photopost Admincp under Administration:
Edit Header
Edit Headtags
Edit Footer
gives following errors in right frame

Content visible to verified customers only.
I have set the path properly under Global Options.

Hi,
yes you can remove those files, and set your header & footer permissions to 777
