Cannot login to admincp

I just installed a fresh vb 3.0.7, and then installed Photopost inside the "Forum" directory (public_html/forum/photopost).

Everything went smoothly during installation, and after deleting install.php, clicked the link for the adm-index.php. An "admin login" page appeared, and after typing my admin username and password, the redirect page appeared, and indicated that my login was sucessful. I was then redirected to the index.php page of Photopost (photopost/index.php).

I login through the photopost index.php page, and my login is accepted, and it states "Welcome my_username". I click on the "Upload Photos" button, and I am told "you do not have permission to upload...". I click on the "Admin" link, and the adm-index.php login page opens, accepts my login, and I'm redirected to photopost/index.php again.

I just tried to login to adm-index.php using my admin username, and a bogus password, and was greeted with the "sucessful login" redirect, back to photopost/index.php of course. LOL

I created a second userid in Vb, and gave that userid admin permissions. The exact same thing happens.

Did I miss something somewhere? This is a 100% clean install, no hacks, or mods to the vb files.

Thanks,
Jack

Did you specify the cookie prefix of bb on install and also on the first step of config place your VB license number?

sounds like to me you forgot one of these settings

I believe I left the cookie prefix as it was, and I did input my vB license number, but did not see any other settings on that page, I think.

Would a fresh install be the fastest way to remedy the problem, and what is the correct cookie prefix for the way I am installing PhotoPost public_html/forum/photopost?

Thanks,
Jack

It's working now, after the addition of "bb" under cookie prefix.

Thanks
