| Can't upload photos...
I recently installed PhotoPost 5.02 vB3 on my forum located at http://www.PhysicianAssociate.Com/photopost Everything seems to be working fine, no error messages....except, for some reason, when I upload an image, it goes "through the motions", but no image gets uploaded. Normal upload screen. I believe I have all my settings correctly. I had already PMed Omegatron my admin details. If anyone could help me on this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Michael

Are there files in your uploads directory? Meaning are they actually uploaded to your server.

Hmmm? Got me on that one. Don't think so. But my hosting company....Westhost.Com is excellent in helping me out. Just let me know what needs to be done or looked at.

If you have westhost are you on there vds system?
I have a site on westhost and have no issues.
Try installing from your manager php 4.310 or 5.03
simply go to the control panel uninstall your present php and reinstall again.

Westhost is usually good,...not this time. I had asked to get my account upgraded to 2.0 a year ago...still no luck. Therefore, I'm still on a 1.0 account with no access to manager. Therefore the php is shared amongst other sites. What is the issue that we are trying to resolve?

Well If you had access to edit the php there would be some settings I would change like max input time etc to see what PHP setting is affecting your uploads. Since you do not have any type of SSH access to the server or ability to edit php there is not much I can do from a support perspective since you have done everything else I suggested.
You can always get them to move you onto one of the other plans. I know there deluxe plan is 17.95 a month and is great. You have total control over your site and the php or mysql it runs

What I am saying though is you can be asked to switch to a new server.
You can ask for this at any time.
You can open an ultimate plan on the new server. transfer all your files and then when everything is alright repoint the domain name. Those are usually fast nowadays only taking 12-24 hours instead of the old days where domains took up to 72 hours
I have two accounts with westhost.
The old one was on the original server and I asked to upgrade to 2.0 They opened a spot on the new servers and gave me x amount of time to transfer the old stuff.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I might just do that instead. Thanks for the advice. I'll keep you updated.
