Installation order for integration with smf

Currently I have photopost integrated with phpbb. I plan on doing a fresh install of the newest photopost and integrating it with the newest version of smf.

Do I install smf first or does it matter? I just paid my renewal fee and am unable to download so I don't have the instructions yet for photopost.

I would install SMF first so photopost can integrate it's user database with it.
