Admin permission to upload problem

I recently tried to get PhotoPost and phpBB to share logins but did not get the results I wanted so I went back to treating the programs separately. but when I sign into PhotoPost as admin I am now getting the following message when I try to upload, either single or bulk:
"Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos"
I have checked the user groups and "admin" has permission to upload.
When I sign on I see the Admin link and can go into edit users, categories, etc.
When I check the categories I have admin set to be able to upload.
Where else can i check to clean this up?
Regular, registered users can upload but admin cannot.
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi..

So you have checked usergroups & category permissions also, have you tried creating a new admin account in the photopost registration system and using that to see if uploads work, if so you could move any existing photos you have uploaded as a previous admin into your new account and delete the old one, might be all down to usergroup ids being altered during the revert back from phpbb.

I first tried changing a "Registered" member to "admin"
That member could no longer upload, receiving the message "Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos". I then changed that member back to "Registered" and could upload.
I next tried settig up a new member. I then went in via admin and changed that new member to admin. I could not upload, getting the same "Sorry..." message.
I've checked the usergroup and admin says Upload=Yes. I've checked the categories and they say admin is allowed to upload. I've looked through the config and options to see if I have missed something and cannot see anything. It appears admin has all the powers it should except for upload.

I created a new usergroup and gave it all the power of admin. I then created a new user and assigned that one user to the new usergroup and I can now upload photos, including bulk upload which was my main issue. So "admin" remains a bit crippled but I found a work around. Thanks

Hello

If you dropped usergroups and then added the regular php ones then that could be the culprit

You would need to view your usergroups table through phpmyadmin drop all inserts and open a photopost.php file and grab the inserts out of there and make sure there is an entry for each one

admin is usergroup 5 in photopost internal and 2 in phpbb
