Cant access the Admin panel

I an in the process of upgrading my site and I cant seem to get to the Admin panel when im logged into photopost. It says in logged in but dont see the admin link I am running 5.02 and upgraded from 4.87 I am actually one step closer then I was yesterday. After reading some of the other thread regarding the same issues I was actually able to login successfully but still does not show the admin link. Please Help... Here are the step I tried

** I would guess you never set your cookie prefix on install
You would want to upgrade to 5.0 where none of this is necessary or you would need to edit your
settings table and find the cookie settings 171-173 entries and make sure they match your vb cookie
settings. The cookie prefix by default which is in your vb config file is bb

There are no entries 171-173 at all! ..

HI, bada_bing

Sorry to hear of your admin problem, hopefully i can help you..
Now if you can view the photopost 'settings' table via phpmyadmin try looking for the 'Forum Cookie Prefix' entry and add 'bb' in the setting part of that table (assuming your using vbulletin) also check the 'PhotoPost Cookie Domain' setting also to match your forum domain i.e '.mysite.com' - hopefully this will help you, please post back with your findings and information on your forum setup etc if you have no luck, i.e cookie domain used, forum used etc

cheers

-T

I'm having the same issue with a php-nuke/photopost installation. I can now login but I do not get any admin options. Cookie settings are identical as far as I can tell.

Try this nuke plugin and reinstall

make sure to rename as nuke.php and upload to your forums subdirectory under your photopost install
Attached Files
File Type: txt nuke.txt (29.1 KB, 5 views)

I would make sure you run the upgrade482 script again with a new version and then set options 166-182 correctly to the settings they should be. The upgrade grabs these proper settings from your config-inc.php but you probally replaced that with a new file where the variables did not exist.

Well before they did not exist now you say they do so it worked

Now it all depends do you have things get right.

Is the cookie domain set correctly?

Is the cookie prefix set correctly? normally bb

Have you entered the VB license number in the photopost config file?

If of these is not right if you do not have an integrated login

If you post a test login and url to your site I can tell ya whats not right
