Pp 5.01 Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1
 

I get this error after upgrading to 5.01

What is the problem?

Your ImageMagick version is very very old and you would need to upgrade it if you want it to work with the new imagemagick line call

What version of ImageMagick is recomended? latest is 6.2.0-7

Is that the reson for the error?
or is there a error somwhere in the files?

Yep your using like 5.4.9 which is like years and years old

Upgraded Pp to 5.01 and then to 5.02

I still get the same error on photo uploads???

Had to downgrade again to 5.00, that is working.

Since your on a windows box make sure you have all permissions for IWAM and IUSER set and cmd.exe

I am using Photopost 5.02 and the latest Imagemagick without fail

Error code 1 is totally a permissions error

I have looked it up, It seams that IUSR and IWAM are a IIS thing?
I run Apache server not IIS.
My server has no IUSR or IWAM users.

Are there any instructions in the Photopost, faq or manual about how to do this this?

My data dir and sub dir's are chmod to 777.

Is there a good online faq about IUSR and IWAM permissions.

I have been runing this setup now for since 2002 why the change?

GD 2.028 will work fine
