install.php not working PP 5.0

Hi,

Just downloaded the latest version of PP 5.0 and am doing a fresh install on a new site. When I load install.php in my browser, and click on the link for "Click here to start a fresh install -->" , all it does is reload the same page and does not continue to the next step which I presume is allowing you to review/modify the config file. There is no error messages in my logs and this is on a linux box. All the permissions are set correctly on the files and directories.

Hi..

This maybe something to do with your hosts php setup itself, please try re-uploading the files again, set the permissions to the .php files to 755 and try the install again, lemme know how you get on.

Hi,

Unfortunately changing the permissions on the .php files did not make a difference. Btw, this is on my own server and there is nothing really funky about my php setup . I am running PHP 5.0.3 and have turned register globals off for security purposes.
