pp5 and cookies

Ok so I'm testing the new ver5 build and I have run into another small issue.
When I create a new account then make an album in the "Album Admin", all is good I can upload photos everyone can see them bla bla. BUT when I choose to make that new album private is when things go bad.

First thing is If I am logged in I can not get in to the private album it asks for a password I enter the password that is given and still cant get in. I click the "(generate new password)", get that new pass and still can’t get in.

Second I can’t use the link provided with the pass in the URL wile I’m logged in also.

If logout then enter the link provided with the password in the link then I can go right into the private album. I can then login and go right into the private album that way.

Also if I log out and login as a different user I can not login to the private album with the password.

----
Am I doing something wrong? If not is there a fix? Kind of sounds like a cookie issue not sure?

Also I have no intagration I use PP5 as a standalown service.

Thanks Guys

Password protection

Ok this is also happening when I create a password protected category on the main section of the site.

SO I made a category password protected it. Then logged out and logged in as a different user. Tried to enter the new category, entered the password and it’s a no go. I now believe it’s a cookie issue but the problem is when you are logged in there is no place to kill the cookies like in the "Login Problems?" section. So basically the only way to enter that password protected category is to logout, kill cookies then enter the category with the password. But doing this I am only logged in as an unregistered user.

I don’t now maybe I have something set up wrong. Any help on this would be nice.

Thanks again

Maybe you should try clearing your cookies; I've run several test and have no issues whatsoever with password protected albums.

Run:

/misc.php?action=cookies
